THE GREAT KAMPALA SCHOOLS LUDO COMPETITIONS SEASON THREE (3) HAS ENDED ON SATURDAY 28TH JUNE, 2025 AT MENGO SENIOR SCHOOL:

Uganda Ludo Federation conducted the third season of greater Kampala schools ludo Competitions on Saturday 28th June, 2028 at Mengo Senior School with eight (8) secondary schools as participants.

It was a one day event with these major victors:

1. Mengo Senior School the host was the winner boy’s category after defeating Royal college Namugongo main campus securing the second position (runners up).

2. Namugoona High school defended its title for season two 2024 after defeating Royal college Namugongo Mukono campus in the girl’s category.

 Winners in both categories were awarded major trophies and runners’ ups were awarded mini trophies whereas all participants in their respective capacities were given certificates in acknowledgement of their tremendous participation.

The closing and awarding ceremony was officiated by the President himself in two capacities as the President of Uganda Ludo Federation and Africa Ludo Federation respectively.

Kalungi Jamil Kalule of Mengo SS Awarded the Best Player of the Tournament at Boys Category

ULF through the inter-schools ludo Competitions organizing committee declared:

1. Mengo Senior School

2. Namugoona High school

3. Royal College Namugongo main campus

4. Royal College Namugongo Mukono campus

As ludo discipline participants in the USSSA national ball games II, 2025 to take place from Thursday 10th to Saturday 19th July, 2025 at St. Peter’s College, Tororo.

While closing the one day event the President urged the schools to keep on practicing for preparation of future events both in Tororo and the Africa Schools’ Ludo Championship, 2026. He commended all those who contributed to the success of the event. Thereafter appealed to schools get ready for the next fourth season in 2026.
